One-Year Internship Programme for SME Nursing Graduates
Mahatma Gandhi University introduced a compulsory one-year Internship programme for its School of Medical Education (SME) BSc nursing graduates from year 2008 onwards in association with Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) campus at Cochin. During this period students will have chance to apply for posting in their preferred area of speciality in the Amrita super speciality medical college hospital. They will be paid 4500rs per month as stipend and will be provided with hostel accommodation and canteen facilities at an extra cost.

we just escaped from this nonsense...why they are selecting private hospital for internship ..its questionable. calicut university was started this programs .but the students approached court after 1 year still issues are going on and they didn't released degree certificate...at least they can choose any govt or semi govt hospital according to their convenience
